Zeta Tau Alpha: Alpha Xi Chapter House
Indiana University, Bloomington, IN
The ZTA house at Indiana University strived to update and modernize their existing house in three phases.
The first phase updated the foyer, dining room, and lounge, while extending the serving line and improving function within the kitchen. During the first phase the board also desired to create stronger presence and a greater sense of entry at the front of the house which was achieved by renovating the front porch and balcony.
The second and third phases included the individual dorm rooms. The rooms were expanded from traditional doubles to create quads with separate sleeping and study rooms. With the renovations and existing TV lounge was updated and an additional TV lounge was created on the 3rd floor.
